The following tutorial includes 3 quick and simple techniques for light, bright, eye-catching and true to colour images that will stand out.
Step 1
Open your image in Photoshop. Once opened, adjust the Levels by selecting Image > Adjustments > Levels.
Click on the far-right slider and drag it back on the histogram as far as you wish looking at the preview image.
When happy with the level adjustment, click OK.
Step 2
To adjust the colours of your image, select Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation.
You can either select Master (the entire array of colours) or you can choose a single shade to isolate and make changes. Slide the triangle slider under Hue either right or left to achieve the desired hue change.
Slide the triangle slider under Saturation to further edit the colours. Click on OK when you are happy with the result.
Step 3
Adjust the brightness of your image by selecting Image > Adjustments > Brightness/Contrast.
Slide the triangle slider on the Brightness bar to a level where the image looks best.
